EPDM

Description

EPDM belongs to the important group of technical elastomers called Ethylene-
Propylene. The material is easily processed. The physical as well as mechanical
characteristics of the material are good compared to other rubbers.

The E8670 EPDM rubber has excellent weather resistance, but is not regarded as
resistant to fuels and oil.

The E8360 EPDM rubber is especially suited for applications in the food and beverage
industry, but is not regarded as resistant to fuels and oil.

NBR

Description

Nitrile-Butadiene, NBR, is the most important group of technical elastomers. The
material is easily processed. The physical as well as mechanical characteristics of the
material are good compared to other rubbers.

The P8665 NBR rubber has a good
weather resistance and is resistant to fuels and oil.

P8665 is as an option available with one or two canvas insertions for increased tensile
and tearing strength.

SBR

Description

Type A8670 is a medium hardness natural rubber with good elastic and mechanical
characteristics. It is not recommended for contact with oil or fuel. A8670 is as an
option available with one or two canvas insertions for increased tensile and tearing
strength.

Type A8660 is a medium hardness natural rubber with good elastic and
mechanical characteristics. It has high resistance against wear, and it is
suitable against abrasive surfaces, edges, and as a fender. It is not
recommended for contact with oil or fuel.

Type A0645 is a low hardness natural rubber with good elastic and
mechanical characteristics. It has high resistance against wear, and it is
suitable against abrasive surfaces, edges, and as a fender. It is not
recommended for contact with oil or fuel.

Description

N 8670 is a black medium hardness chloroprene rubber. It is suitable for punching and
cutting processes. It has excellent weather resistance, but cannot be recommended
for the use with fuels and lubricants.

Description

Silicone rubber offers high temperature resistance combined with excellent
resistance to chemicals, mineral oils, and water.

S3960-1 is a transparent type, and it is used in applications as compressors,
measurement equipment, electronics, cooling, food treatment, and pharmaceutical
industry.

S3970 is a white type, and it is used in applications as compressors, measurement
equipment, electronics, cooling, food treatment, and pharmaceutical
industry.
